At setup, tell Tensio when your symptoms tend to peak and how long you sit at a screen. It tunes your reminder times and movement breaks to fit your day.

Follow the daily routines
Short guided sessions — Morning Release, Movement Break and Evening Recovery — with timers and optional voice and haptics. From week two, add the strength routine.

Log and learn
Note how you feel, your triggers and sleep. Over time Tensio surfaces your patterns and can produce a one-tap PDF report to share with your GP.

What is Tensio for?
Tensio is a self-care app for tension-type headaches driven by posture, screen time and muscle tension. It pairs guided neck-and-shoulder routines with a diary, so you can ease symptoms and track what helps — most people are guided over a 4–6 week programme.
Is it free? What does Pro unlock?
The diary, exports, the Movement Break routine, the basic trend chart, all of Learn and reminders are free forever — your data is never paywalled. Tensio Pro — Lifetime (£9.99, one-time) unlocks all guided routines, the full day-by-day programme, and advanced insights like time-of-day and weather/sleep patterns.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. The one-time unlock is tied to your Apple ID, so it restores for free on any device signed into the same account.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your diary lives on your device — there's no account and no developer server. Optionally, entries can be saved to Apple Health, and weather can be recorded if you allow location. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Why does it ask for location?
Only to record the weather alongside an entry, which can help you spot pressure-related patterns. It's entirely optional — skip it and everything else still works.
What's the "Founding User" badge?
If you installed Tensio before the unlock was introduced, you keep full access for free as a thank-you — no purchase needed.
Can Tensio diagnose or treat me?
No. Tensio is a wellbeing and self-care tool, not a medical device. If your symptoms are ongoing, severe or worsening, please see your doctor.
